# Connect REPS Time to Claude & ChatGPT

## What this is

REPS Time can connect directly to Claude and ChatGPT, letting you log activities, check your progress toward the 750-hour REPS threshold, and review your properties just by asking your AI assistant — no need to open the REPS Time app. You'll sign in with your existing REPS Time account, and the assistant only ever sees and changes data belonging to your account.

## Before you start

-   You need an existing REPS Time account (sign up in the app or at [app.repstime.com](https://app.repstime.com) if you don't have one).
-   You need a Claude or ChatGPT account capable of adding custom connectors (this generally requires a paid plan on either platform).

## Connecting in Claude

**If REPS Time appears in Claude's connector directory:**

1.  In Claude, go to **Settings → Connectors**.
2.  Search for **REPS Time** and select it from the results.
3.  Click **Connect**, then sign in to your REPS Time account (email/password, Google, or Apple) when prompted.

**If it doesn't show up in search yet (or you'd rather add it directly):**

1.  In Claude, go to **Settings → Connectors**.
2.  Choose **Add custom connector**.
3.  Enter the server URL: `https://reps-app-323d0.web.app/mcp`
4.  You'll be redirected to sign in to your REPS Time account.
5.  Once signed in, Claude will confirm the connection is active.

## Connecting in ChatGPT

**If REPS Time appears in ChatGPT's connector/app directory:**

1.  In ChatGPT, go to **Settings → Connectors** (or search for it directly in a chat).
2.  Find **REPS Time** and select **Connect**.
3.  Sign in to your REPS Time account when redirected.

**If it doesn't show up yet (or you'd rather add it directly):**

1.  In ChatGPT, go to **Settings → Connectors → Advanced** and enable **Developer mode** (required to add a custom connector).
2.  Choose **Create connector** (or "Add custom connector").
3.  Enter the same server URL: `https://reps-app-323d0.web.app/mcp`
4.  Select OAuth as the authentication method when prompted.
5.  Sign in to your REPS Time account when redirected.

## What you can ask it to do

-   **Log an activity** — e.g. "Log 45 minutes of tenant screening for my Elm Street property."
-   **Check your progress** — e.g. "How many REPS hours have I logged this year?"
-   **Review recent activities** — e.g. "Show me everything I logged last week."
-   **List your properties** — e.g. "What properties do I have set up?"
-   **Sync your calendar** — e.g. "Sync my Google Calendar," if you've already connected a calendar from the REPS Time web app.

Activities are logged using your own current categories from the REPS Time app — including any you've renamed, hidden, or added as custom categories. There's no free-text category, so the assistant matches what you say against your actual category names and falls back to "Other" if nothing matches.

## Data & privacy

Connecting an AI assistant is entirely optional and only activates once you explicitly sign in through the flow above. See our [Privacy Policy](/privacy/) for details on what data is accessible through this integration and how it's handled.

## Disconnecting

You can remove the connector at any time from your Claude or ChatGPT connector settings. Disconnecting immediately revokes REPS Time access for that assistant — no REPS Time data is retained by the assistant beyond what you asked it to remember in your own chat history.
